Skin Rejuvenation · The Formulary

What each cream actually does.

Every product we compound, organized by what you’re treating — what’s in it, why it’s there, when it’s the right rung, and when it has to stop. Plus the AM / PM pairings we recommend when two mechanisms beat one.

Tiers run Foundation → Plus → Max by strength and number of actives. Most people start at Foundation. Shipping is included.

Acne

Clear it. Keep it clear.

Four pathways drive acne — clogged pores, bacteria, inflammation and, in women, hormones — and a good cream works on more than one. Foundation is azelaic acid with niacinamide and can run indefinitely. Plus and Max add a retinoid on top of it, at two strengths.

Recommended pairing
AM
Foundation — Azelaic 15% / Niacinamide 4%
PM
Max — Azelaic 15% / Niacinamide 5% / Retinoic Acid 0.05% / Hyaluronic 0.25%
The retinoid always goes at night. The azelaic cream carries the morning and is the one you stay on.

Foundation

Maintenance-safe

Azelaic Acid 15% / Niacinamide 4%

Cream · AM or PM · $109 a month, or $96.33 a month on a 3-month supply

Azelaic acid unclogs pores, calms the bacteria behind breakouts and fades the marks they leave. Niacinamide settles redness and oil. No retinoid — the one you can stay on.

Plus

Azelaic 10% / Niacinamide 4% / Retinoic Acid 0.025%

Cream · PM · $119 a month, or $103 a month on a 3-month supply

Adds a low-strength retinoid to keep pores from re-clogging — the step for acne that keeps coming back once the azelaic has calmed it.

Max

Azelaic 15% / Niacinamide 5% / Retinoic Acid 0.05% / Hyaluronic Acid 0.25%

Cream · PM · $129 a month, or $109.67 a month on a 3-month supply

The most complete single acne cream we carry — full-strength azelaic, a working retinoid dose, and hyaluronic acid so it stays tolerable.

Aging & Wrinkles

The one ingredient with real data.

A retinoid at night is the only topical with decades of evidence behind it for fine lines and photoaging. Everything else is support. We run three strengths — start low, step up every twelve weeks — each paired with hyaluronic acid so your skin tolerates it.

Foundation

Retinoic Acid 0.05% / Hyaluronic Acid 0.5%

Cream · PM · $109 a month, or $96.33 a month on a 3-month supply

A working retinoid dose with hyaluronic acid to offset the dryness. Where most people should start, and where plenty of people stay.

Plus

Retinoic Acid 0.1% / Hyaluronic Acid 0.5%

Cream · PM · $119 a month, or $103 a month on a 3-month supply

Double the retinoid, same hyaluronic base. The step up once twelve weeks at Foundation has gone smoothly.

Max

Retinoic Acid 0.1% / Hyaluronic Acid 0.5% / Niacinamide 4%

Cream · PM · $129 a month, or $109.67 a month on a 3-month supply

Full-strength retinoid with niacinamide added to steady the barrier and take some of the redness out of the first few weeks.

For Women

Built for skin after forty.

Skin loses roughly a third of its collagen in the first five years after menopause. Topical estriol — a gentle, low-potency estrogen applied to the face — is the compounded answer, and here it comes with a retinoid in the same cream. Two lines: a tretinoin ladder, and the Stella pair, which we can ship to every state we serve.

The tretinoin ladder

Foundation

Tretinoin 0.01% / Estriol / GHK-Cu / Niacinamide

Cream · PM · $109 a month, or $96.33 a month on a 3-month supply

The starting point: estriol for the collagen loss, a very low tretinoin dose for texture, copper peptide and niacinamide alongside.

Shipping. This line cannot be dispensed to Minnesota or Michigan. Stella and Stella Plus are available in every state we serve.

Plus

Tretinoin 0.02% / Estriol / GHK-Cu / Niacinamide

Cream · PM · $119 a month, or $103 a month on a 3-month supply

The same cream with the tretinoin doubled — the step up once your skin has settled at Foundation.

Shipping. This line cannot be dispensed to Minnesota or Michigan. Stella and Stella Plus are available in every state we serve.

Max

Tretinoin 0.025% / Estriol / GHK-Cu / Niacinamide

Cream · PM · $129 a month, or $109.67 a month on a 3-month supply

Full tretinoin strength for this line, for skin that has tolerated twelve weeks at Plus without irritation.

Shipping. This line cannot be dispensed to Minnesota or Michigan. Stella and Stella Plus are available in every state we serve.

Max + NAD

Tretinoin 0.025% / Estriol / GHK-Cu / Niacinamide / NAD+

Cream · PM · $139 a month, or $116.33 a month on a 3-month supply

Max with NAD+ folded into the same cream, so there is one step at night instead of two.

Shipping. This line cannot be dispensed to Minnesota or Michigan. Stella and Stella Plus are available in every state we serve.

Stella — available in every state we serve

Stella

Estriol / Tretinoin 0.01% / Niacinamide

Cream · PM · $99 a month, or $89.67 a month on a 3-month supply

The same idea in a simpler cream — estriol, a low tretinoin dose and niacinamide. No shipping restrictions.

Stella Plus

Estriol / Tretinoin 0.01% / Niacinamide / GHK-Cu

Cream · PM · $199 a month, or $163 a month on a 3-month supply

Stella with copper peptide added for repair and firmness — the fullest formulation we can ship anywhere.

NAD+

Retinoid-free, and it layers.

No diagnosis, just skin that has lost some spring. NAD+ is a newer topical aimed at cellular energy rather than turnover, which is why it suits anyone who cannot or will not use a retinoid — in pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or simply because tretinoin has never agreed with your skin. It layers with everything else here.

NAD+ 10%

Maintenance-safe

NAD+ 10%

Cream · AM or PM · $119 a month, or $99.67 a month on a 3-month supply

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, applied to the skin. The evidence is early and we describe it that way — but it is retinoid-free, hormone-free, and the one product here that goes on top of anything else.

The rules

Five things that apply to every plan.

Sunscreen is non-negotiable

Daily sunscreen does two jobs on every plan: it prevents the sun damage you are treating from coming back, and it protects skin that retinoids and acids have made more sensitive to light. Skip it and the medication works against you.

Why AM / PM is prescriptive

The retinoid always goes at night — that is when skin repairs, and it keeps the retinoid out of the sun. Azelaic acid and NAD+ can run either way round, which is why they carry the morning.

Retinoids and pregnancy

Tretinoin and retinoic acid are an absolute stop in pregnancy, while breastfeeding, and while trying to conceive — and every acne, aging and women’s cream here contains one. NAD+ 10% is the retinoid-free route; use it rather than going without.

Step up at twelve weeks, not before

Skin needs about three months to show what a strength is doing. Starting at Foundation and moving up only after twelve smooth weeks is how you get to a working dose without the peeling that makes people quit.

Topical estriol and hormone history

Low potency, but not zero — it adds to any systemic estrogen you take. Not recommended with a personal history of breast or other hormone-sensitive cancer, blood clot, stroke or heart attack.
